History repeats itself when people do not take the time to learn about the errors of others.
Those that do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it.

Yes and that is why we should learn from history and not make the same mistakes. A military example would be Napoleon invading Russia during the onset of winter and his army being decimated. Hitler , luckily for us, made the same mistake.
A more recent example is the failing of the levees in New Orleans
during Hurricane Katrina. A flooding Mississippi River caused a similar situation during the 1920's with loss of life and destruction.
A final example would be the flu pandemic of 1917. It killed millions of people worldwide . Since that time there have been periodic out breaks of smaller pandemics, but a major one like 1917 could easily occur again.

yes it does those who do not learn from it are doomed to repeat it. look at how many world wars we have had and each was supposed to be the last. The same greed and corruption still goes on and one and in the lesser important world of other things fashions repeat themselves as well as style so yes if you study it for a while you will see that a great deal of it repeats itself just look up the history of Viet Nam and Afghanistan and see the parallels

Example:
In the past...
You asked a question, and you got an answer.
In the future...
You will ask a question, and you will get an answer.
The repeating of history is neither good, nor bad, it is simply a common occurrence.

yes. we swear up and down we will not be like our parents and then when we have kids, we act just like them.
