there are other options such as the injection, which I found very affective, though there are side affects. I gained lots of weight, and had depression. My doctor said that this was an extreme side affect, and very rarely came about. I had other things going on in my life that also added to it.
I am currently on the pill, but am finding it a struggle to remember to take it every day. My son is only nine months old and i am no where near ready to have another just yet. I am thinking about trying something different like you, my husband hates condoms (though I do remind him constantly that it is also his responsibility). Some body did suggest the implant, so maybe talk to your doctor about this.

If you don't want the pill, there are other kinds of hormonal birth control that you can use - Nuva Ring, Ortho Evra, IUDs, implants, lower-hormone pills that you may prefer. Talk to your GYN. You could also do as some people suggested, and refuse to have sex until hubby gives in.
As a side note, I was on Depo Provera for a year and I really didn't like it. It seems great at first, but it took a long time to get the hormones out of my system (over a year) and I hated the way I felt that whole time. There are a lot of Depo horror stories online, so research it (or any other method you choose) really well before you decide.

An "overdose" of any drugs (even aspirin) would reason long term outcomes. drugs act on the physique in 3 techniques-they impression the frightened gadget-they purpose particular structures (like abdomen, heart, respiration, joints, etc.) and that they artwork on the ideas inhibiting discomfort sensors, having a relaxing or exciting impression. the trials interior the intestine are from the chemical components interior the medicine in basic terms like taking various aspirin will reason discomfort and disillusioned the gadget. The dizziness is from the disillusioned interior the brains stability or a reason for inner ear disillusioned the final answer is this: ANY overdose of a drugs could be taken heavily till desperate in any different case. not on time impacts could reason respiration failure, cardiac arrest, or a style of life threatening circumstances. besides, no one by twist of fate ingest 30 to 40 pills of something. there's a particular reason for such interest and this is not a competent reason. You can be put a patch or even on the nuva ring this way you don't have to worry about missing a pill and having kids just yet. Go to your gyn, and they will give you more information on all the types of birth control. Also there is the depo shots.

Coil is the best option from my point of view. But it seems you don't have kids yet so for you it will be not the best one. No pill, no coil, condoms are not that safe (if you think about it)).. so injections once in 3 moths time or something like that. Good luck!

As long as you only have one partner the IUD is a safe choice. You can get a 5 year or a 10 year and have it removed whenever you feel ready to conceive. I have had mine for 4 years and it has been great. the 5 year gives you a lighter period and little to no cramps at all. Hope this helps. Good Luck- there are so many choices.

Your husband doesnt want children but he wont used condoms? Thats rediculous.
You can use other hormone therapies to prevent pregnancy. The depo shot, some IUD's, the ring... things like that.
talk to your OB.

I have recently came of the injection after being on it for a year and a half. (I had no periods or problems with it untill last couple of months) Half of the women I have spoke to like it the other half would not recommend it.
I had the coil before that......big mistake had very heavt periods at random all the time.
After thought !!! If he wants it he should use it !!!!!

try the coil aka an IUD an interuterine device which is inserted in your uterus. You can also get contraceptive implants which means no periods. But the coil is not 100% safe for preventing pregnancy and I guess theimplants are not 100% safe either for pregnancy prevention as you have mentioned you don't want kids..

If you don't want the pill get the 10 year IUD, or use the pull and pray method. Or quit having sex. They also have a patch.
