Your little one can have formula, just not regular milk until at least 1 year of age. You can try mixing the cereal with breast milk or formula, if you're not doing that yet. And it's ok to start with 1st stage fruits or vegs. I've heard arguments about which to start with, but what's most important is that you start with only one at a time so you can determine if your infant has an allergy to that particular food. Good luck!

I have had pets my entire life. I now have a 2 year old and a 6 month old. I have had water dragons, turtles, fish, mice, hamsters, cats and dogs through out their lives. I think you can have any type of pet you want PROVIDED you can give the pet an excellent quality of life while still providing the same for your baby. Getting a new pet while you have a baby may be time consuming and even difficult. But if you think you can take on the responsibility of a new pet, rabbit, with a baby then GO FOR IT! Good luck :o)

I mixed in a spoonful of fruit with her cereal because I'm sure it is gross!!! I started my daughter on fruits at 6 months and veggies at 5 months. He should be taking at least a half of an oz of formula for every pound. So my daughter would eat 8 oz bottles when she didn't have food or 2oz of food and 6 oz of formula.

It's fine to start your baby on baby food now. Start with the stage 1 foods. I always started mine on veggies (sweet potatos, carrots, squash, peas) first so they wouldn't get used to the sweet fruit then not want the veggies when they were introduced. My son didn't really care much for the plain cereal, but loved it mixed with a little applesauce or pears. He also liked the cereal that already had the banana flavor in it. Give him/her however much formula he/she will take. They push the bottle away when they are full.

Yes if he wants baby food certainly start him out on it. Also try and mash up a banana put it in baby cereal and make the cereal a little runny. That is the first solid foods I started my kids on and they loved it. Not too much jarred fruit though. Don't want to over do it on the sugar. And follow your instincts. As a mother they are very good when it comes to your child. Good Luck.

I do not see why you couldn't. If he isn't fiiling up on what you are giving him now then I am sure that he is ready. Try adding the cereal maybe a teaspoon or so into the bottle and cutting the nipple just a bit so it gets through. THis may also help. Have you started him on baby foods yet? If not he is probably ready to start on it. He will only eat what he needs ... he won't overfill himself. Good Luck and I hope that this helps.

Well, I have a 1 year old, but when she was 6 months old she did drink/eat 8 oz of formula. but it veried every meal/feeding. We started feeding her cereal which she didnt enjoy to much so we mixed like babyfoods such as apple, bannana, or plums to it. And, she enjoied it better that way. Every child is diffrent and their prefrences are diffrent. Feel free to explore diffrent foods with your child and keep it healthy. Healthy eating habits start young. Also, introduce juice water down. Its yummy!

I don't think the baby is ready for the 8 oz. My daughter is 8 months and only drinks 6 oz at a time. You can give him table food like eggs, mashed potatoes, bread, and so on.
