GO AND SEE A DOCTOR

depends if she's bleeding or spotting. I am six weeks pregnant and I started spotting yesterday. I called the doctors and they that it's normal for some women. Your body is changing and your stretching which sometimes causes spotting. I am a high risk pregnancy so they have me on progesterone shot which is supposed to help. Be there for support for her and find she doesn't feel like talking about it at times, let her go. It's scary at times and sometimes you don't want to talk about it.

It could be implantation bleeding (where the baby has found a nice spot to latch onto your uterus and is just digging in for a long stay).

Most docs won't see you til you are 6-8 weeks.

Miscarriage could easily happen that early. If that is what it is, I can only say that you are lucky it happened early.

Relax.

You can bleed when you're pregnant and it is normal. Especially if its light and spotty. Theres a lot of women who early on in their pregnancy pass old blood before the pregnancy takes over the uterus.

It shouldnt be bright red, heavy, have clots in it, or have severe cramps with it as well.

Call your OB.

If you are bleeding and a doctor has confirmed that you are pregant there is a good chance you are having a miscarriage. If you are just spotting, it may not be. Either way I would contact your doctor.
