i love easter but there's just no substitute for Christmas. the holiday cheer that suffuses everything is the greatest, the music, the decorations, people get sick of it but i love it the same every year--as long as they don't start earlier than Halloween i'm good!

Christmas. I love how magical it all feels and the family get togethers. We get together to celebrate our faith and spend some great quality time with our families and friends. We always have large gatherings with lots of great food and lots of fun. We exchange gifts, but it isn't the focus of it for us. I love to decorate the house up inside and out and then turn off all the regular lights and have some hot cocoa in the glow from all the twinkling lights.
Fourth of July comes a very close second because I am fiercely patriotic and I love to see the tons of American flags flying. My dad and borother are Veterans and I love what the day represents. The freedom we enjoy.

My favorite holiday is New Year Day, but not only because it's a great excuse to gorge on so much vodka that you need to be rolled back home...it's because when I was younger, we celebrated it twice each year!
In the Russian Federation, we often celebrated New Year Day twice: once on 1 January and once again on 14 January. It was because of the disagreement between the calendar Russians used and that which the rest of the world used at the time...but it all works out for me yet--two times the drunken celebrations!

any holiday when we honor our Country and those who have, are and will continue to serve her. these are the most important holidays besides Thanksgiving in my opinion for the Ladies and Gentlemen put their lives on the line so we can enjoy our free will and freedoms every day. to remember them along with the police and firemen as
" all gave some and some gave all " seems the right thing to do.

I like Halloween Because it is the one day of the year where you can be completely different then you normally are and no one will think anything of it.

Christmas is my favorite.
I love surprising my son every year with something he was not even expecting.
I would like it more if we were not so burnt out on turkey by then.
