you know it is pathetic when you go to enjoy playing a game of spades and you cant even enjoy it because of lag. yahoo placed these banners up to advertise it seems that they have enough brains to figure out how to prevent lag

Lag answer:too many bots in rooms and hackers running booter programs.
Yahoo installed a program to try and catch them.The problem is the program has a glitch, if you get booted from games and try to log back in right away, IT WILL BAN YOU FOR NO REASON! So its best to wait about 5 minutes before logging back in. Other tips;
Beware of invites, if you get one and want to play, go to the table, do not click accept. Booters commonly send invites then boot you out of lounge! IF a table is empty but has someone watching but not seated, pick another table.
AD banners;1st thing you do when you get in lounge is check small windows in options box. once in room make sure you expand it to see chat area. You only see half of cards but you can still play. this also gets rid of the big ads.

I don't have a lag when playing spades or euchre on yahoo. But it seems like some players are always locking up. I thought it was more of an ISP problem then a yahoo problem.

Most times it is your server and not Yahoo....are your sure you are up2date with Yahoo's new technology?
Pathetic if you have not updated.....try and keep up with the changes Yahoo makes
Update.......Make sure you pop up blocker is off (top of your browser in tools)and once in the lounge click "options" bottom left of lounge and choose the small windows options...... -- If you cant log into chat/games it is because Yahoo's browser has issues with SUN java as default. Yahoo is Java dependant.
This is also the reason for the games applets not loading and some web cam issues. The easiest fix is to update , make sure all your windows are updated

I agree - this lag is horrible! makes you want to switch to msn games.....oh good idea I think I will.
