If you are really worrie dtalk to your doctor about it. Do you know if your having twins? If you are then this could be the cause of the weight gain. Talk to your OB. if there are serious problems with this then he/she will be able to help. Good Luck

With all the weight control we face, I can see why you'd be shocked to gain 25 pounds during pregnancy. There's really no set weight you should or shouldn't gain during pregnancy; the point is to continue your healthy habits. If you're eating a well-balanced diet and exercising, the weight you gain will be much easier to shed when you're post-partum, and what you give your baby now will be used to it's full benefit. You're not getting fat, by the way, so if you've been worried about that, get the thought out of your head now! You're going to gain weight during pregnancy, period. Don't try to restrict any good foods you've been eating or else it will reflect on your baby's development. If you're generally healthy, I would suggest keeping up the good work and don't pay too much attention to your weight, rather what you're doing to stay healthy.

i does no longer problem approximately it too plenty. it particularly is organic on your physique to income weight. you're helping your existence besides as your unborn baby's. specific, gaining too plenty would be risky yet gaining too little would be risky besides. The 25 to 35 lb weight benefit is an normally happening that medical doctors will advise yet each and every physique is distinctive and each being pregnant is distinctive and your physique will for sure adjust to the needs of your infant. as long as you proceed eating healthful then there should not be a difficulty. I gained 40 pounds with my first baby by transport time and now i'm 24 weeks alongside and have purely gained 4 pounds with this one. i've got not replaced my eating recurring and my healthcare expert suggested the two circumstances are thoroughly regular. merely think of of the burden as your physique telling you what a large job it particularly is doing making waiting your physique for carrying turning in and feeding that infant sooner or later. :-) i desire this helped.

I started at 126, but by 5 months i weighed 158. You do the math.
Iam not fat, i was thin to begin with. My doctor wants, and expects me to top out at about 170. Right now iam 8 months and weigh 163.
Your baby does some seriously rapid growth, the placenta grows, and your start producing 50% more blood by the 5th month. Thats a lot of fluid and baby weight. Plus your body has to put on muscle to carry it all, which weighs more than fat. Not to mention it has to create some sort of store reserves, especially since you're working out so much, and have a full time job.
Its normal.

How have you put on the weight? All in the past month?
You shouldn't gain more than 8 pounds a week. If this has happened recently, go and get checked for pre-eclampsia.
Every preg. is different, and it is completely possible to gain 5 pounds a month.

I gained a lot of weight really fast too. I'm 18 weeks pregnant and gained nearly 20 pounds. My doctor told me as long as I eat right and exercise, my body will still gain what it needs to for a healthy pregnancy.
I have also had blood tests and regular examinations and everything else is normal. But, I would still tell you doctor in case you have picked up toxemia.

you may have preclampua, toxemia. They can do blood work to check for it!! I've had it twice. They don't know exactly what causes it. You may get high blood pressure, weight gain, head aces. Ex trem cases stroke seizures. This major, it can kill you. I would go to the Dr if your having symptoms. Also, they Tell you to drink lots of water and decrease salt. It doesn't work! I think the extra water causes swelling. If you have it, a lot of DR don't know what's going on until it's to late! The only way to be it from killing you is to deliver the baby early.

It is not just fat-you have alot of extra blood, amniotic fluid, excess water, placenta, baby, boobs, all of these things add to your weight.Do not freak out-what matters most is that you have a healthy baby!I am 27 weeks pregnant and have gained alot too-but I am not worried-all you can do is try to eat healthy and walk every day for exercise.
