one of my friends told me that if you sleep with a bra on that you can get breast cancer...i know it probally kind of sounds stupid that im asking this, but i just don't know weather i should beileave her or not. so anyways, any answers would be much aprecaited. Thankz!

Let's face it, bras put pressure on certain body points. The most expertly fitted bra still presses on tissue. This can cause local irritation of the skin and tissues beneath the skin. It might even cause some scar tissue to develop over time, which might feel like a lump beneath the skin.
I've never worn a bra to sleep and I developed breast cancer when I was in my 20's. Thanks to early detection, I am 62 and going strong.
After some surgeries, women are instructed to wear a bra 24/7, as in following breast reconstruction after mastectomy, etc. Nursing mothers will also wear a nursing bra to prevent leakage. Bras don't cause cancer, but they can cause some irritation. It seems the more research they do, the more they find that there is a genetic component to breast cancer.

No you can't. I know people that have been sleeping with bras on for years and they don't have breast cancer. I think that sleeping with your bra on would be very uncomfortable though.

No you cannot get breast cancer from wearing a bra to bed. It may be a bit uncomfortable though, and if you wear underwire it may cause the wire to shift.

That is a myth. I never understood why anyone would want to sleep with a bra on because it would be uncomfortable.

I doubt it very seriously.
When you are bigger in the breast it is actually more comfortable to sleep with one one. They manufacture sleeping bras that are meant for just that and less likely to be uncomfortable to sleep in.

u cant get cancer but its not goo to wear ur bras to bed. so if u can remember take it off but if u forget a couple times ur not gonna get cancer!

its more likely, because of the under wires and all. but what do i know im a guy. why would you want to isnt that uncomfortable?

you dont get breast cancer the most it can do is restrict blood flow
