I was layed off/fired from my job over two months ago. I look on the company's website and I notice that my picutre and personal information was still being displayed. What actions can I take against this company?

I would say yes and consult an attorney. It would probably depend upon the waiver you had signed,

If you gave written permission. Don't jump to the conclusion that you did not. You may have signed that right away the minute you signed your job application. Ask for the proof of your consent from the employer.
Check with an attorney.

Your first step is for you to ask them to remove your likeness and information from their site in writing. Let them know they have 30 days to comply with your request or you will take legal action.

After 30 days, get an attorney to write them a similar notice with a shorter time period. If all that fails...and it won't....your lawyer will guide you best into legal actions.

Why sue? Who cares? If you are that offended ask to have it taken down.
