Hi there. I have read My Sister's Keeper and loved it! I have cancer so it was refreshing to have the comedy value along with the seriousness too. I have since read quite a few of Jodi Picoult's other books and rate The Pact as good as My Sister's Keeper so give that one a try.
Let me know if you come across any more good page-turners like that!
Christian =)

Lovely Bones, and Lucky are really good books, by Alice Sebold. Don't tell Mummy by Toni Macquire is heart wrenching.
Two others worth a look. "inside I'm screaming" by Alice? Flock, and "we need to talk about Kevin"...(hard to get "into" but well worth persevering)
The incident of the dog in the night-time is also a very good book.

I have read it. I loved it, but it made me cry at the end so much, and it is usually tv programmes that, make me cry, not books!!. She is a good writer, but that book is the best by far.
If you like that you should try 'The time travellers wife' by Audrey Niffenegger Also a fantastic book, but you won't be able to put ti down! 'The Lovely bones' is quite good too.
