For example, if I have an account at a Chase bank in Central Illinois can I walk into a branch in Fort Myers, Florida and have access to my accounts?

I have only had local credit union accounts in the past. Thanks for info!

Yes, you can get your money from any Chase Bank. However, if you transfer to another local credit union, you will undoubtedly have fee-free checking and lower interest rates on loans.

If you're worried about access to your money when you go on vacations, etc., you can still get it out of ATMs that have the logo listed on the back of your current ATM card, even if it is a bank or another credit union.

Aren't those formerly some other name that was formerly Bank One?

The site says they are connected to JPMorgan now,.. so I am going to assume there may be some other JPMorgan or JPMorgan owned banks you can work with if you can't find a Chase.

As far as I know, Chase is National and it sounds like JPMorgan is InterNational.
