The numbers of dead and wounded inflicted by an enemy, though really significant, are not the only reason for fighting or waging war. Some will gladly give up their freedoms for "peace" even if cruel tyranny is enforced upon them.
Re: @ less than 20% of American Colonists were for the revolution. To avoid war with the most powerful nation on earth at the time, most Colonists were willing to live in relative peace under what the majority of the population considered to be the cruel tyranny of the English Crown.

Many Americans fear losing our freedom more than death. Individual freedoms for our fellow citizens and our progeny are more important to us than our lives. Life's not just about me.

That's how we got the freedoms we have and unfortunately, it's the only way we'll keep them.

I admit that's thrilling to work out the percentages you lay out. My spouse desires to work out them so she would possibly no longer undertaking approximately me as lots over right here. LOL yet certainly, we combat terrorism considering the undeniable fact that's a appropriate that is going against what usa stands for. in comparison to a pair different subjects you have suggested, this is the variation...it is going against who we are. That plus it gets a great style of media interest and definitely human beings have an interest considering the undeniable fact that's a puzzle they might't remedy. so as this is my 2 cents...i will now get off my cleansing soap field.
