I recently purchesed an Acer laptop, but it didn't arrive in the mail yet. I never heard of an Acer laptop until I found it online and bought it. I found out a lot about the laptop before I bought it and it is a good laptop.

yeah i have an acer ferrari 4000 series laptop and never had a problem with it.. acer is a good brand bit more expensive than others but well worth it.

My husband and I recently bought Acers. It is an older brand than Dell or HP. Been around a long time and still in the biz, so that's good. I really looked for the laptop with the most bang for the buck and got the Aspire 1640. I really love it. Has a nice 15.4" widescreen, very clear. The Acer has a faster processor than the comparable Dell. Nice machine, nice price.

They are ok I have an Acer Laptop I am going to return it so I can get Vista preintall Their HardDrive recovery rocks it can restore a pc less than 15 mins.

Acer has been makeing PCs and stuff for years. There stuff is as good or as bad as any other manufacturer. Some of its garbage, some of it lasts for 50 years or more. Will I still be useing a computer with this OS in 50 years? no.
Take care of it, put a good OS on it, and have fun.

They never used to be, but their now one of best brand names for laptops out there today.

i havent personally used them, but played around them in the mall. they are decent laptops for the price.
