I got a fix it ticket to take off my tint on the two side windows.

So i peeled off the tint 2 days ago but i still cant take off the glue left over from the tint.

Right after i took off the tint. I tried two different brands of "Goo Be Gone" (stuff that breaks down glue). and i tried washing it with soap. and i tried using ammonia also.

niether of those worked. so im looking for some tips that work. thanks in advance.

WD40 and a razor blade , that stuff rocks at removing adhesives , but as someone above said it won't be easy, use the brake fluid as a last resort and get it on NOTHING as it will eat everything. good luck

The best way to remove the left over adhesive is to use a 1 or 2 inch razor blade scraper. You can find them at walmart or any hardware store. Spray the window with a dish soap and water mix, work your way downwards and when you notice the adhesive is not coming off as easy replace the blade. This will prevent scratching the glass.
DONT USE ANY CHEMICALS, THEY MAY DAMAGE INTERIOR AND YOU WILL END UP WITH A SLIMY MESS, USE ONLY SOAP AND WATER.

Ok this might sound like a load of BS, but I am serious. Use a razor blade and brake cleaner... Spray the brake cleaner on it (be careful just to get the window and no where else), and the glue dissolves quickly and you using the razor to scrape it off. After that just use a high quality window cleaner to clean it right up.

I would say honestly that there is no "easy" way to get that crap off of there. The best I have found is to take windex or 409, something with ammonia in it, and a very sharp razor blade to scrape it off. If the blade does not stay super sharp it will scratch the windows, so you will want to buy a whole package of them..

if its crusty first use a razor blade scraper, if its gooey, use goof off. it might take a couple of rags. then use plain glass cleaner to take away any haze.
