I'm in 8th grade and we don't have showers, too. I'm not sure about High School, though. I don't think any school should do that. Your school is right about showers putting students in an uncomfortable condition. I just hope there are no showers next year in High School. However, ever since 6th grade we have to change into our uniforms in the locker room. I don't want to shower with other guys because it'll feel strange and it'll be uncomfortable.
In High School, I hope they have stalls so I can shower and change privately. I would never do it if we had to have group showers. I still don't support school showers but I believe if you have to, the school should use stalls.

When I went to school (back in the stone age) you had to take showers starting in the 7th grade. You could not leave the locker room without turning in your towel that you could only get after leaving the shower.

O.K. No! I am in the 8th grade 2 and our school doesn't do that but I think they should let students do that because if that girl or boy has to go somewhere afterwards then they would be smelling like crap. And nobody wants to smell like crap in public. I am a girl and I don't know if I am much help but what the heck who cares. I still think that is so stupid.!!!

i'm in 8th grade and we don't have showers, too. i'm unsure approximately extreme college, nonetheless. i do no longer think of any college ought to try this. Your college is sweet approximately showers putting pupils in an uncomfortable condition. I purely wish there are not any showers next year in extreme college. inspite of the undeniable fact that, ever in view that 6th grade we ought to consistently grow to be our uniforms in the locker room. i do no longer prefer to bathe with different adult men because of the fact it's going to experience unusual and that's going to be uncomfortable. In extreme college, i'm hoping they have stalls so i will bathe and alter privately. i might by no ability do it if we had to have team showers. I nonetheless do no longer help college showers yet i've got self assurance in case you ought to, the college ought to apply stalls.

It's a personal preference... If you want to take a shower, take a shower... I started taking one in gym after I got to high school...

when i was in the 8th grade showers were avaiable to take but no one ever took them, even in high school no one ever took showers after gym class. most of us werent sweating to begin with but there were open to take. but we were so limited on time that we didnt have time to take a shower and still make it to class on time. but if the stall is there and you feel you need to take one, take one. hopefully people are mature enough to not bother you

it's a matter of choice- take a shower and smell really nice or don't take a shower and stink. the school system there is just too cheap to pay for the water. Bring your own to school with you in a 50 gallon barrel.

We had showers when I was in school, but hardly anyone used them. I don't think anyone should have to take showers in front of other people. Puberty is such a crazy time in life, the last thing you should have to worry about is being naked in front of other people.

In highschool we didn't have to take showers.. We did have seperate locker rooms for the boys and girls.. but for us I don't think there was enough time for it all. I guess if you're worried about not being clean or whatever, bring some deoderant.. and or some face wash. Good Luck :-)
