I'll just tell you about my most favorite, REM. I've loved them since I was eleven. They've inspired me to write poetry, and their words and music move my soul all the time, they always have. I finally got to see them in concert on the 'Up' tour, and with that same concert being the last one I saw, I could die happy. They mean the world to me :)

Very good question, but I would have to answer with a ridiculously long answer....so I'll keep it short.
I love Crossfade, Evanescence, Disturbed, Shine Down, etc.
I like them because I think their music is awesome. I just love music.

blink 182, green day, red hot chili peppers, bon jovi, jimmy eat world, fallout boy, snow patrol...
I love music they're my favourite bands cus their songs are the best to jump around and sing along to :D

The Offspring: they have songs abut great things that others haven't addressed - and they have a great sound!
Montgomery Gentry: Good rock sound - nice vocal tones.

I love Guns N Roses they always just played great rock and several great ballads

rolling stones - cause they just are
chicago - big band sound
moody blues - classical music
earth wind & fire - because they are cool
beach boys - harmony

These bands have been out for years and they are as solid as it gets musically speaking...I blame the system for their non-discovery...the industry does create superstars...they decide who makes it and who doesn't and these guys are just as good as anyone out there...
