My husband and I are going to start playing an online RPG again. We played EQ together for about 2 years, but that was a while ago. Since we have to start over with new characters, now would be the best time to switch. Which is the best game out there?

I played EQ for about a month and i've played wow before and out of the two world of war craft is the better game.

however you can't truly compare Guild wars and WOW because GW isn't an MMORPG it's a CORPG (competative online not massive multiplayer) this means that it's a very different experience gamewise, it's more structured and is more like a traditional RPG with *some* mmo traits in the cities. if youre going for the MMO experience go warcraft, if you want a cheaper game with more objective based missions and a competative PVP arena area go with guildwars

Guild Wars is the cheapest. The latest chapter, Nightfall is best if you pick Guild Wars. If you want fair competition and a go-through game, Guild Wars is the way. Because Guild Wars (Even the devs said this:) is a Multiplayer Online Game.

WoW and EQ are more adventure games. I personally haven't played those two, but from what I've read they are completely different from Guild Wars.

Anyway, WoW from what I've heard is really fun.It really depends on your taste.

I like WoW the best by far. I could never really get into EQ and GW is nice but you cap out at level 20 and then you really need to like PvP gaming. One thing to note is that the first expansion to WoW is due to come out in the middle of January. So now may be a good or bad time to come into the game depending on your viewpoint.

I've never played EQ before but...

WoW is fun, you'll always find someone willing to group with you for a quest. Cheap $20 dollars for game and a $15 dollar subscription fee for each month.

Guild Wars is fun, though it seems to have more rude players than WoW. I think the game cost about $20-$35 dollars now but there's no subscription fee.

World Of Warcraft. It has over 5,000,000 subscribers so you'll always find a lot of people to play with plus its extremely addicting.
