check it first. unplug the power plug, wait a few seconds the plug it back in. mine does the same thing. also you may neeed to change the plug your computer is plugged into by just moving it to another plug in. my router failed, but changing the connectoin to another plug uses a different connector and solved my problem. i still have the same router but one of the connector plugs is still bad. i had four, now only three work.
unplugging the power cord lets the router reset itself. it's a common occurance with mine.

I'm sure you've tried the normal things like powering off and on and checking all the hard wires. The only way I know of to trouble shoot this further beyond the obvious things would be to find a friend with a wireless router and hook it up. Or take your router to a friends and try it out. That would eliminate your network as being the issue and may lead to finding a physical failure.

it would possibly no longer have the comparable IP handle because of the fact the router. XP will detect the conflict and close down the interface. Set the server community card to settle for autoconfig from the router, and reboot it. it would get an handle with the comparable first 3 numbers because of the fact the router, yet a special quantity interior the final place.
