I won't buy any until when vista is out. That why i'm going to return my laptop to get it.

I think I would stick with the fastest processor speed and the most RAM. The Hard drive is easy and cheap to upgrade. Since these are all solo core machines, you should look at the specifications on each to see if the graphics includes memory for the video. This will reduce the need for additional system RAM to render decent video. I would also discount a system for only having one Dimm slot because it makes memory upgrades more expensive in most cases. One good source to compare all things computer is "Toms hardware guide" www.tomshardware.com. One last thought is that Microsoft Vista is being released in February. Will any of these laptops support the new operating system? Happy hunting.

I prefer Dell. Personally, I would go to the dell website and plug in your specifications and get a price. You'll probably find a comparable price for the same spec. And no, I am not affiliated with dell ;-)

the dv6000t, of course. Has the most MB and GB for only a bit more money.
