Please don't install one yourself from a parts store. #1 You have a GM product with some type of VATS (or other) system protecting your ignition relays. Go to a reputable aftermarket stereo shop for purchase and installation. I've owned two DEI systems that worked flawlessly ... erh, the first one didn't work until I figured out that I needed a VATS bypass system on my cavalier. You see, I purchased the system off the web and installed it myself. I'm a car guy, mechanic, emissions etc and even I was scratching my head for 3 weeks on that one. After that, it's all gravy.

if you mean a remote start then go to a local stereo shop and they will help you out. I love 'em in the winter
