Do you have any suggestions of ways to convince them to let me see it?

well clearly you're too young to watch the movie by yourself-or else you'll have seen it. It's really not appropriate for young kids-it's funny but really inappropriate. Just wait till it comes out on DVD and see it at a friend house, but they but ratings on things because there are certain things child of a certain age shouldn't see. So your parents are really doing there job-don't give them such a hard time. Only begin a mature kid will show them that you are old enough o watch certain movies.

Sorry I don't know any ways to convince your parents, but I will tell you you really aren't missing much. I don't know how old you are but I'm 33 and some parts were very dfficult to watch. I mean it's kinda funny and all, but if I were you, I'd ask your parents to explain why they won't let you see it, or what it is about Borat that they don't like... try to see it from their perspective. I'm sure there's a valid reason.

If you still need to ask your parents if you can go see an R rated movie, that means you are too young. I saw it and it was good, but your parents have a good reason telling you no. However, if it means that much to you, tell them all of the positive things about it and see what they say.

When I was younger there were certain films my parents didn't let me see. I was disappointed at the time but eventually got to see them - some were worth waiting for, some weren't so great. I think you should accept their advice and wait.

I don't know how old you are- but just go by what your parents say. It's a funny movie- but really not appropriate for kids.
