LOL. I know we should never complain about a gift, right. But....when I was probably about 16 or 17 I worked at Dairy Queen and as the crew was closing one of my good friends on the crew was heading over to another friends house for a Christmas exchange. We were all friends but they had known each other since grade school. Anyway the girl I was closing with invited me over and I accepted, thought it would be fun to see this group of girls exchange presents,etc.... well evidently the girl hosting the exchange was appalled that I had been invited when I was not in on the exchange. So to my surprise she handed me a gift. I was shocked but I opened it and it was bath oil but the bottle was extremely dusty! Obviously I had just been regifted! Needless to say I never used the stuff and I was embarrassed for going to their exchange. I just hadn't thought that my being there would make her feel funny. But it did.

A set of coffee cups on a wood tray. They had roosters all over them. My kitchen was no where near a country theme.
It was like on of this things you pick up at Walmart in the main aisle.
(This was a family grab bag gift we got- the limit was supposed to be 35.00).

My brother, Curt, died in December when I was four. I may have mentioned this before. My parents told me that I took pretty rough for months after. I'm sure that was the worst thing to ever happen to me in December.

All gifts are good. No matter how expensive or cheap it is.
I personally don't give out gifts unless I feel like it. It does not have to be Christmas for you to receive or give gifts. That is not like an obligation. In my opinion, a gift is better received when you don't expect it.

Never will forget it.
I was just out of high school. This guy was crazy about me (I thought). I gave him a nice gift.
He gave me a LIFE SAVER BOOK!!!!!
I just saw one the other day and I was reminded.
It is shaped like a book, you open it up and it had a bunch of lifesaver candy rolls lined up.

When you see me, I have long black and green hair. I dress all in black. I never dress in light colors. Only in bold colors. So last Christmas I was surprised to recieve a bright red sweater that had a picture of Santa Clause on it. Very scary. Thanks Grandma :(
