Honestly there isnt a "map" or "strateegy" on how to do this since every cube is mixed up differently. The company who makes them does not mix every one up the same way, therefor not every cube can be solved by twistin and turning the same way. You just have to concentrate and work on it till you finally get it. It takes time. I once did it as a child and it took me months. ..
but if u want to cheat lol... some people take the stickers off and match them all up . or some cubes come apart and you can pop the pieces off and put it togeather again the way it should be. but other than that , thats only way u can do it fast
goodluck

Do you mean Rubics Cube? Yes it is solvable and a book was published several years ago giving step by step directions. Check out the book stands and stores or Amazon.com might have it.
Personally,I like the Soma Puzzle. It is a 3-D puzzle like Rubics Cube except it breaks dowm into 7 pieces and you can try to make different things from it. I haven't seen it in stores for several years now,but I think it was made by Parker Bros.

You start by just solving one side. Once that is done there are sequences of moves that will switch tiles. You have to decide what you want to switch and then follow a rote pattern. I'm sure that you can find these patterns by doing a search but you will not find a full solution.

There IS a strategy.
MY friend in grade school could solve ANYONE's Rubick's cube in thirty seconds.
He even tried to show us but we were all
too stupid to figure it out.
Then, one day,Another friend had taken all the sticker decals off of his cube and put them back on in a nonsensical way and brought it to him to solve (which he couldn't.)
It wasn't really that funny either because
my Rubick's wizard friend knew right away that he was being janked.
In any event,here.. http://www.alchemistmatt.com/cube/rubik.html

I would take all the colored stickers off and fix it that way...... I am not good at it either. LOL When I was a kid, I had to get my dad to fix the damn thing for me. Then I just threw it in the trash. Stupid thing made me mad cause I couldn't get it right. Oh well, now ya know what NOT to get me for Christmas!!! hehehehe

Are you talking about a rubics cube, like from the 80's? I haven't seen them forever! Just like the games now, there was a "pattern" to them, I forgot it now, but I got to where I could solve it. Thanks for the memories!
