A great craft is the handprint christmas tree. (It makes a great memory because you are using the child's handprints)..

-Trace the child's hands many times (at least 10) on green paper/craft foam. Alternatively you could make green paint handprints on paper (it's fun to let the paint squish between your fingers when you're two!).

-Cut out the handprints and glue them together with fingertips facing down to form a tree shape (4 on the bottom, then 3, then 2 then 1 at the top)

-Cut out and Glue a brown rectangle for the truck

-Decorate with stickers or cut out ornaments shapes and decorate with coloring and glitter.

-You can also add the child's name and the year.

-Add a string if you wish to hang on the tree.

-You can use LOTS of handprints to make a tree big enough to hang on the door.

Have fun with it!! (I teach this class age at church also)

P.S. Another Great site for pre-made crafts is www.orientaltrading.com

Great question, ask your kids in class what they would like to do!
Make out a drawing bowl that they can decorate, have them each decorate a slip of paper or fabric with their idea, put them into the decorated bowl and have each child draw out another name. Have them decorate something for that person to go into the room. On the back of the paper or fabric the child drew, have them write some good things about that person on the ticket itself.
When you have completed all of this which will be so much fun for all of you, make a scrapbook of the tickets front and back and then make copies for each child.
It will go down as the Christmas of giving, who knows where it'll go from there!
God Bless

Get the large baby food jars and glue a piece of styrofoam or rubber glue wad or clay on inside of lid and have them stick dried flowers in it and glue closed. Tie a ribbon and flip over for mom. (paperweight) or have them make a pencil box out of popsicle sticks, paint or glitter and put their picture on it. I adore mine. kids are 13 and 22 now. have them on desk at work. Use milk cartons for the younger children and cover or paint for pencil holders. Add picture to outside. glue sequens, etc.

Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh. as quickly as, I observed a application the place Yusuf Estes became telling memories of the Prophets to small teenagers. It became somewhat beautiful, the youngsters have been giggling and having exciting listening to him telling how Ibrahim left the fireplace unscathed, how Musa defeated Fir'aun's magicians, how 'Isa could desire to via the choose of Allah substitute a clay pigeon to a genuine one, etc. The 5 Pillars of Islaam is a good subject be counted, inspite of the undeniable fact that it rather is too ordinary, nonetheless. maximum folk might think of that youngsters can %. up issues quickly regardless of you're saying to them, yet in addition they become bored surely. So, in case you will cover this subject be counted, then attempt to no longer flow promptly in the direction of it. working example, for the 1st Pillar, Shahadah, they must first understand who's Allah, and who's Muhammad. initiate with a question like, "who's Allah?" "Who created various those issues around you?" or something alongside those strains. yet possibly you already recognize this in view which you're a instructor; my apologies. yet another subject be counted may be with reference to the Prophets. teenagers love memories, as quickly as you have their interest, they are in a position to take a seat and purely ask your self in awe listening to what you're saying. in case you prefer to cover this subject be counted, then this is ultimate to flow in chronological order (Adaam to Muhammad). possibly this could be somewhat boring, yet what's your opinion on talking approximately morals and manners? no longer in the intricate experience, purely the ordinary one i.e. respecting your mothers and fathers, eating with the astonishing hand, smiling, etc. I recommend you examine 'Nurturing Eemaan in toddlers' via Dr. Aisha Hamdan. Masha Allah, this is a nicely-written e book nonetheless it rather is extra to concentrated on mothers and fathers to enhance their parenting skills and coaching their toddlers. nonetheless, it would probably help you in a manner, Insha Allah. could Allah S.W.T. bless you in abundance for this, sister.
