My favorite Christmas present was from my son when he was 7 years old. He came to me and asked to borrow $1 so he could get me a present. I laughed and gave it to him. Apparently they were having a sort of garage sale at his school so the kids could pick presents for their parents. Later he came to me and handed me a little wrapped gift, (and gave me a nickel change!). I could hardly wait until Christmas Day to see what it was he picked. It was a battery operated Sony pencil sharpener. Yes, I still have it!

My favorite Christmas present was when I was a freshman in high school and my mom thought I needed to act more like a "lady." I was still a tomboy at 13 and high school didn't do much to change it. So she bought me a purse. This was in the '70's and I remember it being BIG. It was a little suitcase and I remember being so happy to finally have a purse - I did suddenly feel like a "lady" and ran around trying to fill the big old thing.
I don't have that purse but to this day, I have a "thing" for purses. I just have to have a new one every few weeks or so. :)

From when I was a very little girl I always used to play with my Great Grandmas doll every Christmas when we came home. Just before Christmas when I was nine she passed away. When we got home we found she had already got our presents before she passed away, mine was the doll I knew she treasured and had wrapped and given to me.It is my most treasured present ever and my hardest Christmas. The doll has pride of place on my bed and as I have 4 sons and no daughters I hope to have grand daughters one day to hand the doll down to.

My favorite christmas gift is the gift of Jesus. He was born and came to the world to save us.
I really enjoy being around my family during christmas. Its not about the presents. I love to watch my siblings, parents, cousins, grandparents, friends, aunts, and uncles open their gifts from me. It makes me feel wonderful when they thank me for it. I also really love the traditions.
Yes i still have all the gifts from christmas. Every Christmas I get it again

The most memorable present I got was in the 4th grade from my parents....it was a ream of manila drawing paper. I always got in trouble for drawing on ( and wasting ) notebook paper so this huge stack of paper was their way of saying we know you love to draw and we want you to go for it! I went through that paper in about a month or less but the memory of the freedom it gave me lingers. It just goes to show that thoughtfulness is always the best gift!

An airpogo stick - We don't have it anymore, we used to twirl it up then let go so we'd spin real fast, and the rope eventually broke - but we got a few good years out of it and it was awesome. Id be to old to keep it now anyways =)
