Title: Simply Complicated
There are so many years, so little time,
Too many dollars, not enough dimes...
Twice as much love for every hard heart,
One mile away, but so far apart...
So much purpose for no reason at all,
One person meant to catch you, but always lets you fall...
So much want for something out of reach,
A youthful mind with no one to teach...
So much simplicity for a soul so complicated,
No time left for a heart so dated...
For something so perfect, so many flaws,
A death to the heart with an unknown cause...
So much hate from something I love,
So much hell from something above...
A lonely soul with too many friends,
A life that's over but a soul that never ends...
Lips that kiss but never feel,
Words come through that are never real...
Eyes so dark that light the world,
Knowledge of an elder, heart of a little girl...

Whoa.. I'm not being sexually abused by a parent. It's about my father not being there, and when he does see me, it's a hug and a kiss, then a goodbye. I can see how you would get that from the poem though.

well to me people around have no time for u and the time that they do give. it just to satisfied themselves. it either a dad or a mom that was strip away from Ur childhood but people in Ur life told u something else than what u recall of the love u both shared and see that u was abuse most likely sexual as a child to present and Ur reaching out for help. it makes me feel like my little girl is going though my ex is in contentment . have not heard from my baby for over 2 yrs if she is being hurt as u was well let just say it will be dealt with , i shall keep u my prayers i know u believed at one time and who every was strip from know that person love u very much and think of u often their not a day that goes bye that i don't think of my Babbie

I read it several times I was tempted to give you 10 out of 10 but 1line"no time left for a heart so dated" made no sense to me so I give you 9 out of 10 great poem about life trials and tribulation .

Officially rated a 10 by the "dead poet's society" .
I Loved the part "a heart so dated" - only a female will understand that.

With a 1 being bad and a 10 being awesome---I think it's an 8. It seems to me to be about someone with a lot to give, and a lot of frustration that so much seems wasted, time, feelings, etc.
