Who is this movie for? Is it good? Is it okay for children in the range of 10-12?

you should research this movie and others at www.screenit.com

It's for families, and they tell you EXACTLY what is in the movie that could potentially be inappropriate. It's a great site!

That being said, I think 10-12 is too young for Stranger Than Fiction.

It's for a more mature audience, but only because it's a mature movie. It isn't inapropriate, but it's deep. It's ok for 10-12 year olds, but they might not understand some of it. I liked it, especially the guitar part.

maybe okay for some kids, but you decide. Without ruining the movie for you, I will say that it does contain some very disturbing images, sexuality references, brief language (but in context) and nudity.

but by the age of early teens, kids have seen all of what the movie contains already on public tv. So, sure!
