Scrambled eggs are great. Any food he can mash with his gums are good, like soft fruits such as bananas, canned peaches. Farina is nutritious. Soft cheese cut into little pieces is good. My daughter loved graham crackers, and they dissolve quickly in the mouth. Pasta works really well, and so does beans.
At 10 months old, my baby refused to eat jarred food, and I found she could eat almost anything as long as you cut it into small enough pieces.

Well most importantly does she have teeth? I ask this because my son is going on 10 months and he is still all gums! So he is still eating the stage 2. My oldest son though was an over achiever and did everything early, he had a whole mouth full of fangs by the time he was 9 months. Every kid is different. Anyhow, IF she DOES have teeth you can give her lots of things, basiacally anything soft enough where she wont have to chew it for hours. And make sure it is cut up into nice little pieces so she doesnt choke. How ever is she isnt doing well with the stage three foods she may just not be ready for it yet. Dont rush her. It might just be something you want to address next time she sees the pediatrician. A good way to start them on chewing is to buy those Teehing biscuits from walmart. Both of my boys have loved them! They taste like a grahm cracker, and wont get lodged in thier little throats. Also Gerber has a line of foods called Graduates, little easy disolve cereal puffs and crackers, that babies can experiment with as far as chewing and feeding themselves go. My youngest (the one with no teeth) has been munching on these for the last week or so and loves them. Good Luck!

Best tip go buy a book called "The Super Baby Food" by Ruth Yaron, best 20 dollars you will ever spend. It will tell you what times to give what foods. Eggs should not be given until 1 for allergy reasons ,but some babies at age 10 months can do just the egg yolk less allergic response to it. Those puffs shouldnt be given until they can sit up on their own and chew well. I made all my kids foods from scratch, they spit out the jarred kind. I steamed and pureed it and froze it in ice cube trays.

Here are good ones for 10 month olds according to my book (which is so worn the cover fell off and pages are falling out!)

grapes peeled and quartered
kiwi
plums
watermelon
okra
cheeses cut small
peaches
carrots steamed
melon cut small
beans and lentils (my daughter loved lentils)
small pasta
raw or grated carrots, greens, summer squash and sweet peppers
bannanas
soft breads in small pieces

Just remember if veggies are raw grate them into thin pieces or steam them in small bite size chunks.

There are are so many more foods I couldnt list all of them.

Egg yolks are fine, but some doctors suggest postponing egg whites till after a year for allergy reasons. Here are some easy to make dishes that both you and your kid can enjoy:
- any vegetables with melted cheese on top (make sure the veggies are in small pieces)
- spaghetti with tomato sauce and ground beef
- veggies with yoghurt as dip
- boneless fish fillet
And many more...make sure the following food are excluded for toddlers under 12 months old: honey, chocolate, nuts, added salt and sugar, egg white, citrus fruits, strawberries.

And make sure food for toddlers are in small pieces to prevent choking hazard.
