it is a dohc quad four. i need help getting my oil pan off

Ulike what the other guy said you can get the oil pan off. You just have to take a few parts off before you can get it off. If I remember right the majority of the bolts are 10mm and the bolts around the front and rear oil seals of the pan are 8mm. If you are having alot of problems go to the parts store and purchase a repair manual. Chilton's used to be one of the best around. If you are still having problems after that then take it to a shop somewhere.

If I remember right quad 4 doesnt have a true oil pan it is a intergral motor.The pan is part of the block.
