Find the wonder and beauty in the simplest things. Take joy in things like- cake. Be trusting, give most people the benefit of the doubt. I think you can be an adult and still see the innocence in people and see what's great about the world. Find a sun warmed rock big enough for you to lie down on, then lie down on it. Pass a fountain and think how nice it sounds and how the water sparkles in the light. Hug someone and mean it, feel it. Sure nasty things happen to everyone, doesn't mean you have to be blind to everything that's fun. If you still can't figure it out go visit some little kids, if you don't have relatives try a children's hospital, now those little people will open your eyes.

The age of innocence is lost once you have been exposed to the outside world, media, other people's opinions/actions, etc. The closest you can get is enjoying the moment for what it is and not trying to read anything into it or ask why, etc. If you are happy RIGHT NOW be thankful and enjoy it. If you are not, do something for someone else, like bake chocolate chip cookies and share them with someone who didn't expect it or didn't even know you could or would attempt to do something like that.

You never loose the wonder and awe at the world and things in it...and always have that sense of fun and play bubbling just under the surface. You are tender, forgiving and loving of other people...come to think of it, there would be a lot less problems if we kept in touch with our inner child daily.

I dont think it can be done. Once you cross that line to adulthood its a done deal. There is just to much baggage, to many memories, to many bills, to many problems that a child don't have to experience or deal with.

sometimes I laugh at the most immature things. Like when people wipe out or someone farts in public. Things like that. I can't help it. I feel so childish but it keeps me young I think.

DO things that kids do, like mini golf or play with dolls if you want to think like a girl.
