Sometimes a printer does not go well through USB hubs and extensions. You might try to plug it directly into the 2nd computer to configure that until it works, then plug it back into the HUB and see if you can alter the PORT address of the printer.
Good luck and Happy Computing!

diverse USB should not be an argument apart from speed. Is the printer nicely suited to be a community printer?? reason thats what you attempting to make this is. If the driving force could be up graded then effective. Technically it is going to wiork yet once you purchase a community printer then your situation would be solved, I also have a printer linked to a minimum of one workstation and to print from my different workstation i in basic terms would desire to have the two workstation's grew to become on and sharing my community. i'm questioning perhaps crossover cables would artwork??

Corrupt printer driver.
Delete the printer driver from the second computer, then download the latest printer driver and install it. Make it the default printer.

Get the latest driver off of the printer's site and load it into the computer, and that should cure it. The driver is corrupted.
