try the scrape yard I havent heard of any place except that one they take old refrigerators also

When you leave it outside for garbage day someone will take it. They took mine in the middle of the night(that was the washer!). I still have a broken appliance (dryer) in my back yard!

Put it side of the road and with a shoe polish write free on it. It will be gone in two days promise,or go to freecycle.com
