Of the following Dell computers, which would be best? I don't need it for very important stuff....just to play Sims, watch movies, listen to music, Internet, photos and to write a few papers now and then.
Again, these are all Dell computers.
XPS 410,
Dimension C521,
Dimension E521,
Dimension E520.

XPS 410. The XPS series has better components and are designed for gaming, albiet, the 410 is for light gaming. I would recommend Dell and other branded finished comuters over custom computers because custom computers from small computer shops are generally less stable than those made by Dell. Exceptions are boutique computer manufacturers like Alienware or Voodoo.

All of these are great for that. Look at the monitor... I recommend that you get a 19inch LCD Flat Panel monitor. You might consider a Wide Screen model for your movie watching.
I prefer the Dimension series. The case is easy to get into. But look at the PRICE.

Dell Dimension E520 I just bought the model and it was pretty cheap it works with all of my games and its just great!

XPS 410 its a good deal and can handle media and games. If you have the money i suggest you customize it so that its perfectly suited for you.

Available only online for 1/2 the price. They are great computers too.
