I'm currently in college, and my major is Early Childhood Education because I want to be a Kindergarten teacher...or so I think? I want to work with little kids but last night I was thinking if teaching was right for me? I THINK it is but I'm kind of doubting myself. So my question is...what other jobs are out there that allow someone to work with young children? Maybe I need more options...but I don't know! Any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm putting this in the Polls and Survey catergory because it's probably the most popular and hopefully I'll get some [good] feedback!

there is always the children's mental health option. I know I am grateful everyday for the awsome people who have been a BIG part of helping the two children that my wife and I are raising. (adopted, abused in every way)
Counselors, pshyco-social rehab, developmental disabilities, etc
Might be something to think about

maybe you would like occupational therapy. you can work with special needs children(handicapped). the rewards are so much more satisfying and the pay is a lot better! teaching people/children how to function in everyday life is a gratifying experience and you get to help those who really need it the most.
good luck in your quest!
