I watch it mainly just for him, old episodes on UK Gold and the new ones showing just now. He is just so masterful AND sweet!!

Yes Lord G, i will take you, look again and you will see his hidden appeal. He might not be someone you like right away, he grows on you and they are the best type. He is such a great character, i wouldnt like to think the actor who plays him is not nice like that.

Oh yes I agree I hate the bill and think the story lines are crap but Smithy makes it so worth while!!

i never used to like him in the beggining but he has grown on me and i can see why u would think he was sexy. i always preferred cameron tate from the bill, (daniel macpherson) who is now in the chan 5 program tripping over. he could use his handcuffs on me anytime!!:)

I'll admit to having looked closely, too. He's the serious but sensible one, who gives out all the advice, but he does have that "certain something" that draws your attention to him.
