been violated twice. I want to know how Christians can reconcile this greed and violence with the holiday they say celebrated the birth of the man they call the "Prince of Peace." But I can't get posted. Maybe better luck over here.

Goodwill toward men? A challenge to Christians here, get the greed and avarice out of your Holy day. Don't you think you'd get some respect for it?

I'm with you. I was watching the news last night and couldn't believe all of the people clamoring and fighting with each other over a bunch of crap that will be played with or used for about 30 seconds, then discarded in a landfill after sitting unused on a shelf in someone's garage for months or years.

Truth is that we live in a highly consumptive, wasteful society and we've forgotten the true meaning of not only Christmas, but what true generosity and kindness really is.

I don't think the violent people were Christians, but if they were they have some praying to do. People are just excited to get a deal, and well, some idiots spoil the fun with their greed.
I don't think this question is in violation to anything.

Don't go shopping the day after Thanksgiving. You are right people don't care if they hurt you to get the last chatty cathy, etc. I've even had people pull an item out of my hands, it is amazing.
