Most would say its someone who has never has sexual intercourse. In this day and age that is the case because most can say "I've never had sex" but have given someone oral sex and so forth. A virgin is someone who is completely pure. By this I mean someone who has never even kissed someone before. Others might see kissing as mild but its still an act of intimacy. Take it as you will but that's just my honest opinion. This isn't a stupid question at all to ask because the meaning has been distorted through the years.
