I have been collecting plates and stuff from Thomas Kinkade and The Bradford Exchange over the years. I would like to be able to check on the current value of these items. I have been trying to find a web site but have'nt had any luck. Does anyone know how you can check on the value of collectables?

Mostly you can get a valuer to look at your things - take your plates to a shop where similar items are sold and they should be able to give an approximate value. Alternatively auctioneers are very good at estimating value.
The value will depend on the item's collectability, its condition, and a whole host of other things.

First try the people that you initailly purchased these items from, and see what they are selling for today. Failing that, try Ebay, and see if they, or comparable items are for sale. Another way would be to check with a dealer in antiques, and see.
