NO SNAILS! They will cause you more problems than anything! You MUST have a filter. If you are talking about goldfish you must change the water once a week....consistency is the key. And you can get TetraFin goldfish flakes to feed them. Be sure you use the appropriate chemicals each time you change the water. Seriously - don't do snails. They overbreed and will create an even uglier mess....

1) ALL fish need filter to keep their tank clean but they also provide oxygen so I strongly recommend you a filter.
2) Don't get any new fish, they will all get infected and die.
3) Snails won't solve your problem, you should medication at your fish store and follow the instruction properly, followed by a water change.
4) Snails will eat the algae growing on your tank and rests of food, you can also feed them tablets, but make sure you don't put too much, U might not even need to! And they also eat cucumbers but I don't recommend it, it might create bad bacterias in your tank.

most snails eat algae and small (tiny) animals you still need filtration of some kind snails do not change the deadly amonia into less deadly chemicals like nitrate and the filters do. You can change 25% of the water every day and still won't clean the water chemistry as good.

You should build a filter. you need an air pump, airline, and air stone. punch some holes in the bottom of a plastic water bottle. put some gravel in the bottom, then the airstone with the airline running out the top of the bottle. Then shove some polyester filler on top (walmart, like .99 for enough to last years). then hook airline to the air pump and turn it on. Instant filter!
As for snails. Many of them eat plants or algae. having aquatic plants in your tank will also help to break down fish waste.

This has information on the different types of freshwater snails, and what their diet consists of.
(P.S. Without a filter, many fish will not survive for very long. Consider getting one)

Nope won't work. You will need a filter. I have a 29 gallon and I bought two. You also will need to vacuum your tank about once a month. A snail makes more mess than it cleans up. You can't use salt based chemicals to treat your tank when you have snails. It will kill them. They are fun to watch.

1. Can i put many females?(Like 2) So, one dosent get bored.? no, betta fish have to be alone. 2 If i boil a rock or ceramic things: are they safe in the tank? yeah, but you don't have to boil it. 3. What to feed them: Flakes or Pellets? it really depends on the fish. most of my bettas have enjoyed pellets more. 4. Can Bettas only be with Bettas? they can't be with ANY OTHER fish. they MUST BE ALONE OR THEY WILL EAT EACH OTHER. 5. Is there any kinds of meats/fish that i can give them to eat on as a sanck or on occasion ? no, not that i have ever heard of. good luck! bettas are great fish.
