Get a fast Internet connection (DSL, T1, cable)

The only thing standing in the way of you downloading files fast is network traffic. Dialup is the slowest, and a T1 connection is the fastest. Dialup costs ten buck or so a month, and T1 costs thousands.

Your choice.

Maybe change the cable to one that aids faster transmission of data!

you can only do that if you have a high speed internet connection, such as dsl, or cable
