Look, if you're going to put dinosaurs, don't put anything. I'm talking about dragons, not dinos.

You asked "were dragons real". Yes, I believe it's entirely possible. If you look at the "mythological" similarities of cultures around the world, you'll find them everywhere. The Incas, Native Americans, Brittain, even Central/Southern Africa,and Russia. But most notably were the Asian Dragons. Each culture held them in differing reguards but there's no denying, dragons dominated this planet for centries. If you think about it, even the bible speaks of at least one dragon, symbolically called "the beast". And since christians say that every word in the bible, being "the word of God", is the absolute truth,I find it amusing that they be ney sayers. So that answers that.
As for Slayers, at least one Arc Angel (Michael) is credited with slaying a dragon. There are also two Saints (can't remember names) likewise held in heroism for slaying a dragon. Legends abound with stories of knights in shining armor in English and Norwegan folklore, but the Asian culture loved and worsipped their dragons so no slayers there.
As for the riders, I can only remember one Chinese story where a warrior befriended a cloud dragon, after being wounded in battle the dragon found him and carried him back to the woman he was to marry so that he might kiss her one more time before he died.

Yes dragons were real, for they have much proof that they actually existed, for example, some dinosaur bones were found and it was said that they seem like dinosaurs but they have some antatomy that all other dinosaurs had. No i am not talking about the flying dinosaur, the taradactile or however you spell it. I am taking about giant monsters that had wings and they all existed longer than all dinosars. All the way up to the midevil times. But loss of food caused them to all die.

I am sure there were some fabricated stories handed down. But, many historians and scientist are re-thinking some of these accounts. Some believe that they were dinosaurs. Lots of physical evidence has surfaced in the last 30-40 years that prove that dinosaurs lived with man. The age of the earth and geological time scale are under scrutiny again.

I don't know, but I think it's possible a different breed of dinos were "dragons". As far as masters and slayers go, I think it's a bit too fantasy.

Yes they were.... Dragons is the name used for what are now are mostly called "dinosaurs". The word dinosaur has only been around for about 150 years.

Personaly i think dragons still roam the earth. Mostly frost dragons. But i dont know about dragon riders/slayers. I think that is a lie. Dragons are peacefull and wish no harm. they are ususaly thought bad because they have been known to take maidens. this is merley because they have jewels, and as you know, dragons hoard jewels to coat the under side of them. as they get older, it is harder for them to hunt for jewels, and around that time, princesses wore lots of jewlery, makiing themeasy targets. Lots of people missunderstood the dragon, and so they are forced to hide away. maybe im crazy, if so god forgive me, but i know for sure that they wereh ere at leat once.

As my uncle (a scientist) once said:
"Hypothetically, they are an animal that could have evolved but with the current biological conditions they did not."
If you've watched Dragons World, they go over what would happen if Dragons WERE Real. How they evolved, how they breathed fire, how they flew....Why they became extinct.
It is a common theory explored in science fiction that dragons were real animals that became extinct in medieval times.

Till about 12000 ago there was some huge prehistoric birds flying
around some parts of this globe.The rest is fiction

believe the Ancient Ancestors called dinosaurs " dragons " but would answer " no " to your last two questions -- unless you are referring to those who killed birds which are the descendants of the dinosaurs.
