To whoever wrote in capitals above: I doubt you really have a son that fights in Iraq, if you did you wouldn't be so pro-American.

There is no doubt that anyone that goes out there is brave, the country is a complete mess. My friend's boyfriend is out there at the moment, and I know some others who have been out there (and in Afghanistan) and none want to go back, and all have no support of this Labour government nor for the Americans, even if they had it before they left.

Britain needs the strength to extracate itself from these deep relations that Blair has formed to enable him to create a legacy for himself, at the expense of young men form both sides of the Atlantic. Blair has promoted himself by standing on the dead.

British people are proud of their history, culture and acheivements. Sadly, we have an egotistical, self promoting, self-indulgent and introspective prime minister who cares only for himself. The majority of people in this country are appaled by what Blair, in following his master Bush into a never-ending conflict, has done.

We speak the same language. It makes business a lot easier which goes a long way to supporting the economy. The yanks also helped out a quite a bit in WW2 which they won't let us forget. Its strange also then why the French hate them.
