He is not a cologn,sports,coffee cup,or dvd kind of guy. So, I do not know what to get him. I don't really want to just get him a gift card. Any ideas?

Dad's love usually love gadgets. It makes them feel useful to have a flashlight/survival tool/toothpick on their keychain.

I usually get my dad a few clamps from Lowe's because he likes woodworking. Just think about what your dad likes to do and what you can get him to help him to do it. If he likes hiking, get him a neat hiking accessory. If he likes drinking beer, get him a book of nearby breweries within a day's drive. If he likes computers, get him a neat little portable drive/flashlight/keychain.
