Although terrorism threatens the U.S. in many ways, the religion of Islam is in no way a threat to our FREEDOM, any more than those Christian radicals who would enforce their moral standards upon others threaten our freedom--unless we give them that power by voluntarily giving up our freedom. In the case of any terrorist threat, we must be careful not to let our fear lead us into compromising our civil liberties, remembering that any governmental power given may be applied equally to any of us.

Islam is the most peacefull religion, and possese no threat to any country. pls go and learn more about Islam it will help you understand it rather than be thinking about it the way you see some potray our religion coz that is not the way it is. many dont practice it the way really Islam is.

YES. Look what is happening and has happened in Europe, Denmark, Britain, Germany, etc. They do not assimilate to the countries they have immigrated to, now they want laws changed to suit them. Islam may be a peaceful religion, but they also have radicals who intimidate others. They also have sharia in their makeup, which gives them the right to take from other people and countries. Check what is happening in Michigan. A little online search will open your eyes to Islam. Read While Europe Slept, can't remember authors name, but it starts with a B.

Radical lslam is a threat to freedom everywhere. I find it hard to believe Islam is "peaceful" when it calls for killing "infidels" who don't believe as the followers of Islam believe.

NO.
I live in England and was brought up among the terror created by the IRA, this didnt make us back down or give in. We were obviously upset about the actions and consequences. It made us realise we couldnt . It made us determined to carry on with our lives.
The song we used to sing:
"No surrender, no surrender, no surrender to the IRA"
original huh!!
Al Quedia is having the same affect here, we are determined they will not impact on our day to day living, though obviously it does upset you when things are done by them.

Islam? No, but the extremists who corrupt what Islam is meant for will, or they will until we figure out how to contain them.
