I have two reoccuring dreams...

1. I dream about running away from something. But my legs are as heavy as sandbags. As fast as I try to run, I cannot hardly lift my legs. It makes me VERY discouraged.

2. I dream about cheating on my husband. I am VERY content in my marriage so I don't have any clue why I would constantly dream about other men.

WHAT DO THESE DREAMS MEAN??? HELP!!!

1st dream: Something is weighing heavily on your mind and you are having difficulty deciding what to do or dealing with it. It could be something in your past you are afraid will catch up with you, or something current such as a debt or misdeed. You have fear of the future events.

2nd dream:Just because you dream something doesn't mean thats what you want to happen (ex. first dream). It could be a fear that you aren't perfect. That even you could be susceptible to something of that nature. (A lot of ultra religious/conservative people have these fears and thats why the extremes by those groups are taken. ex: riots, homophobia, etc..) You just work your fears out in your dreams.
You have to remember nobody is perfect. Just because you are happy in your marriage doesn't mean you don't have desires. The trick is to keep everything in check, so you don't act on those desires. I can guarantee your husband has had dreams about other women. Its natural.

Recurring dreams can be very disturbing, and I've talked to a psychologist about how to best deal with them. I see you've already been given some interpretations, so I think it would be helpful to get some advice about how to make these dreams go away. This is VERY effective, and I highly recommend it if these dreams are causing you any sort of emotional distress.

What you need to do is write down a script of each dream. Describe exactly what happens each time as much as you can, as if you were writing a story. However, change the ending of the dream so that it becomes a good one. For example, in your first dream you could change it so that you turn around and see that a cute little puppy had been running behind you, so you pick it up and carry it home to your family. In your second, just tweak the script you wrote so that your husband is the man that is satisfying you.

Read these scripts every night before you go to sleep. It may take a few weeks of reading them before your dreams actually start to change, but as soon as your mind has memorized and embraced them, they'll become part of your unconcsious dream world as well. After a while, you probably won't need your scripts anymore, but if your recurring dreams end up coming back, just read them once again and your dreams should go back to normal very shortly.

Best of luck.

Dream 1: This is a decision you are having to make or will be faced with and you can't run from it. You'll have to deal with the pain of making this decision.

Dream 2: This has to do with Dream 1, You're decision you'll be making may be against your morals or ethics, but its one you'll make. You are associating your guilt of cheating on your husband with your decision.

Running away from things usually has something to do with deadlines.

Only you can interpret the dream about cheating on your husband.
