Personaly, I am more HONEST about myself when talking online.
I feel it is easier to talk to people half way around the world, than to those closest to me, even my own family.
In the real world I bullsh*t quite a lot, never showing any of my
feelings.

I tell the truth about my life and myself because I seek to establish real and true friendship with people in places I can't physically travel to (yet). I try to give as honest a representation about everything as possible.

I favour honesty however the final lie is once you're telling the thruth and lacking considered necessary counsel .. which i surely classification as bending ! I see it alot whilst human beings prefer to allow you recognize of something that occurred yet somewhat forget there very own involvment lol till somebody enlightens them with the full certainty ... it may embody a lie :)

I'm a truth teller, but if the other person is a little boring, i'll add a few stories just to keep the conversation going, i have found alot of people talk alot of B/S.

Most of the time, I tell the truth. There are times, when I'm describing myself, that I leave things out, simply because I don't want to chance hearing cruel remarks.

well im honest to online friends as i have nothing to hide or worry about but i agree with you,sometimes its easier to talk to online people as they dont know you as such but then again its so easy to slip a little lie in here or there.i think most of us are guilty of doing that on occasion.
