Please help me with this...so far i have been going comando!

I would advise wearing nothing underneath, though if your wetsuit is not quite up to the job look out for a 'hot top', it's a 1mm neoprene rash vest that will give your wetsuit a boost when it comes to protection from cold seas and wind-chill. Make sure your suit is well sealed and tight fitting, you don't want a cold flush down the neck...brrrr....

I use my hot top with board shorts in the summer, and would do so in colder seas under my steamer (but as I live in Sydney, Australia it never gets cold enough to do that).

Just remember - if you opt for a 'wettie-warmer' (peeing in your suit) give it a good wash out afterwards. The uric acid can erode the stitching :)

When I wakeboard with my wetsuit, I sometimes wear a speedo underneath

you wear just yourself. Wet suite are very tight and any thing under will just pull up when trying to put it on. plus there won't be any noticeable difference
