It was a movie about 6-7 people who wake up in a cell (or box) and have to figure out how to get out. Everytime they come to a new box, it could be booby trapped.

The movie you are talking about is "Cube", from 1997. I remember watching it and the sequel "Cube 2 : Hypercube", from 2002. Both very similar, and do not have any big name actors, but they were interesting. People wake up in a box and have no idea how they came to be there, and each person seems to have some sort of role to play in the escape from a complex maze of look-alike, and seemingly never ending, interconnecting boxes. I did like the 'booby trap' factor in the original a bit more than the 'shifting room' factor in the sequel. There was a prequel movie to this series, called "Cube Zero", released in 2004, but I have not yet seen it.

sorry honey in simple terms doesnt seem to go back to my ideas for a 2d i presumed i became scary action picture 3 or something yet once you suggested it became from six years in the past i'm breathless sorry yet i cant help you there
