promises are meant to be broken honey, it a part of life and growing up. Plus a promise ring is nothing more than material, like a kite in the wind.

What exactly would you be mad at in the first place, the fact he didn't get the material ring or the fact that he wasn't able to keep the promise. Christmas is not a time to show how u feel about someone by giving presents the question is does he do it all the time ...just because

Tell him "Either the promise ring you promised me, or this promise that i'm going to promise you: promise you have the ring by tomorrow for me (the day after Christmas) or it's over!!
Now choose!"

Or you can just ask him "So what other promises do i have to look out for being failed when the promises come from you?"

That is your prerogative to get angry or not. Also his choice to get you a ring or not. If he doesn't it means he is not so committed as the both of you thought, or maybe he doesn't have the money, or want to spend the money. Promises are broken, that is part of life. Did he say exactly, "I promise I will get you a promise ring"?

Don't get mad. He shouldn't have told you that. He should have just gave it to you. What exactly does a promise ring "promise"?

Well would it anger you? maybe you should just question whether or not he wants to give you a promise ring. If he doesn't then he shouldn't feel obligated. It's something you two should talk over.

u don't need a promise ring to have a promise to be married to him...so don't get mad.

what i have to wonder is how would you know that's what he was getting you? unless you have bugging him too. if that's the case, he would only be getting this ring for you to get you off his back. but if he just came out and told you that's what he wants to get you, and he doesn't, then i still would not be mad. he may not have the money to get you some thing like that.be happy with what ever gift he gives you.

No you shouldn't get mad because something could have come up that he couldn't buy you the ring.
