I think that abortion should be illegal. That child who is being killed didn't ask for it!! women should learn how to keep their legs closed or use a condom if they don't want a baby. If something unfortunate happens like rape it's another story but I still see that child as a blessing. What do you think?

I think there should be greater ristrictions. The child never asked to exist nor to be murdered. If a woman or man does not want to have a child there are many other options available to prevent it. I don't want any more children so I got my tubes tied. I can understand the difficult situations some people get themselves into but to me it's a case of you made you bed you lie in it. I got pregnant at 16 and had a daughter at 17. She is a beautiful 10 year old now. She is about 15 feet away from me as I type. Can you imagine a world without her? She could be president or she could discover the cure for aids. Life will only tell the story in time. It never crossed my mind to have an abortion. She was MY BABY from the moment she was concieved. Her biological father has chosen to stay out of her life and has only laid eyes on her 3 times. I think if you gave her the choice she would rather be alive and raised by a single parent. Although I am no longer a single parent. My husband and I have three children total. He raises her as his own and she has already asked him to walk her down the ailse when she gets married. All children are blessings. Even my beautiful son who was born with cerebral palsey. Many women have had abortions because thier child was going to be born disabled. He is the kindest sweetest little 7 year old on the face of the planet. The world would be a much darker place without his smile. People don't really think this question through when they answer most of the time. What would life be like without these children? Life is much bleaker with the death of any child. The women who have abortions have to live with a loss for the rest of thier lives. Some are okay with their choice others have emotional problems for the rest of their lives.

Yes you are totally right. Abortion should be outlawed. People that support abortion don't even look at the possibility of adoption and I can't even understand why. They don't even give it a chance. The abortion rate goes higher and higher each year, where does it stop. The worst part is 94%-97% of these babies are being executed every year because the baby is an inconvenience to the mother. Doesn't that just make you sick? If the mother has the right to have her baby executed because the baby inconvenient to the mother, then why not also allow the mother to have her 6 year old daughter/son executed if they all the sudden be an inconvenience to the mother. There is also a counter argument for what if the mother was raped. Why should the baby be put to death for a crime it didn't commit. Why should he/she be punished for what her father did. The right thing to do is go after the person that rape her not the baby. The baby did nothing wrong and therefore should not be eligible for the death penalty. Why don't you kill her father her raped her because he's the one that did something wrong, just don't have the baby executed to pay for his/her fathers crimes. If you don't want the baby because you can't find someone way to love it, then put it up for adoption. Saying that a female has the right to have an abortion because she is raped is like saying that justice is served by having the innocent baby executed for a crime that the father commited.. The most common argument I hear is, its my body I can do what ever I want with it. If this is true then I guess all drugs should be legal because after all its my body I should be able to choose what I want to do with it. Why were at it lets make prostitution legal to, its their body, so they should be able to do what ever they want with it. The point is the law regulates what we can and cannot do with our body's. If people that support abortion believe that its not murder, then why do the majority of pro-choice believe that someone that kills a pregnant woman's baby should be charged with murder. According to their point of view the baby is not human and has no right to live, therefor the person that killed her baby should not go to jail for murder. Its ether human or its not you can't have it only human when the baby is convenient for you. If the mother should hire someone to murder her baby, why not also allow her to hire and kill her 3 year old son/daughter if times become tight and she can no longer afford her child. The list goes on and on. People that think abortion is so great don't care if its wrong, its whats convenient for them. It doesn't matter what you tell them. Arguing with someone that supports abortion is like arguing to someone that supports child pornography. You can't get through to them because they already have their mind up. Some people also support abortion in cases of incest. I have a very easy solution for this problem, "DON'T HAVE SEX WITH YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS." That would solve anyone having to have an abortion. Is it really that hard not to full around with your family members and get them pregnant. Incest is totally wrong and uncalled for. If their was a law passed that made abortion illegal, then what should we do about someone that goes under ground to have an abortion. The person that went to have abortion should be charged with murder in the first degree and the people involved that helped carry out the abortion should be charged with accessory to murder.

How like a man.Shame on you.Did you ever stop to consider that its not an easy choice for women to make. But it sure beats the alternative.Like just off the top of my head:not being able to support the child,to young, incest, rape these things happen and if you even suggest adoption than you really don't have a clue. For a woman to carry a child for nine months, feel something grow inside you(something you can't help but get attacted to)and then to go through hours of giving birth just to hand it over.I'm gonna tell you my story so maybe you'll get a better idea of what we go through.I got pragnant at 18 I went to the abortion clinic with the father and they made me have a ultrasound after that I couldn't do it.so I looked into Adoption but after 9 months of carrying her and giving birth to her and the doctors putting her on my stomach I couldn't give her up( she was so perfect)And now she's 5 and I've stuggled everyday since to provide for her and if I didn't have my amzing parents to help where would we be, probablly on the streets.I work 2 jobs but after paying rent, bill, and food and then there is things she needs. The last time I had anything new was last christmas when my parents bought me new clothes.I literally sacrafice everything I need and want just to be able to provide the bare minimum for her.So i ask you why would we keep bringing kids into this world when there is more than enough out there not being taken care of.The problem is that nobody wants to adopt anything but babies.

I've said this before. If you want to call abortion murder, why should it be "rape it's another story." It's either murder or it isn't. The child was not responsible for the rape. If you want abortion illegal, there should be absolutely NO exceptions of any kind.

My next question is, how many people in this country are so opposed to abortion that they would be willing to raise that baby themselves? And saying, it's a hardship or it's unpractical is not acceptable. Remember, you're the one who wants abortion illegal.

I think that if we outlaw abortion, there are naturally going to be more children born that need taking care of. This means we've got to put together some excellent social programs that take care of those who need it most. After all, pro-life should mean pro-quality of life too, for those who are already living, as well as the unborn.

First, we would need to develop a national healthcare plan and higher education bill to care for and educate these children. Currently, only those lucky enough or wealthy enough have access to decent, basic healthcare. It has also been proven that a good education gives children greater opportunities and earning potential later in life, thus keeping them from becoming criminals.

We also need to reinstitute some of the many social programs that have been drastically cut in the past few years, like Head Start and school lunches. No kid should have to go hungry, not if we truly are pro-life.

Also, if abortion is outlawed, let's make sure to provide birth control and sex education in every public school in this country, so that pregnancy can be prevented. Let's educate our young girls especially, that you don't have to have sex before you are ready, just because you want to make some guy happy.

Sadly, many politicians who support bans on abortion, don't support many of the above social programs that are intended to take care of children once they are out of the womb. I guess in short, until we put such programs in place, my answer would be no, I don't think we should outlaw abortion.

Backstreet or unlawful abortions tend to be finished in poorer international places who don't have get entry to to healthcare. now and returned it somewhat is finished with the aid of putting an merchandise into the cervix (it somewhat is have been the coat hanger reference comes from.) different circumstances it somewhat is finished with the aid of inducing trauma, kicking interior the tummy working example. the project with a number of those abortions is they very risky and could lead directly to infections which could be deadly. If everyone desires an abortion, they could bypass to planned parenthood and communicate with somebody there.

No, I believe a woman should be able to make her own choices on abortion, but I do feel that late term abortion is questionable, like anything thing past 5 months.

I don't believe in abortion because I believe that life begins at conception. Abortion is the destroying of the most innocent of life. Because of my belief, I also don't believe that there is any justifiable reason for it.
